A “moment” is considered to be a short period. It’s interesting to realize how often you hear people say, “I don’t have time to read a good book,” “I can’t find time to go out with my friends,” or “I have no time to go to the gym.” Why is that?
Is our life so hectic that we don’t have time to do the things we love? We’re so busy we can’t even stop the chaos when we need it most.
Here are three quick tips to help you find peace.
Just…Stop
Stop what you are doing for a minute and open your eyes. Look around you. Look to the left, then the right. Look up at the sky, then down at the earth. Focus your eyes on the center.
Inhale deeply and exhale slowly. Listen to each inhalation and exhalation.
Close Your Eyes
You are at peace. You are at peace.
Exhale to release any negative thoughts or moments that cause you anxiety. Allow the negative energy from your soles to your crown to rise with each inhale. Then exhale it and let go.
This seemingly simple act will help you to bring peace into your heart.
Practice Gratitude
Gratitude can be expressed as an expression of appreciation. You should appreciate the peace that you have just created. It may have only been a few seconds, but it is a significant moment that has left you with a clearer mind.
You may never have imagined the benefits of taking a moment to find calm. You will be happier, less stressed, and smile more. Your soul will be filled with patience and positive energy. You will find peace if you close your eyes, stop, and express gratitude.
You may find you have time to do the things that make you happy.
I hope you can find peace every day, even in small doses. How can you find peace for a few moments?
